Two very large rocks jut from the rocky beach at Namtso Lake in central Tibet. These rocks have an interesting myth behind it. According to our guide, A giant was killing nomads and their yaks so a Lama was sent from Lhasa who battled the giant for several years. When you finally defeated the giant he was encasing him in stone. The giant was repentant and begging for mercy so the Lama left his hands exposed and told the giant that he would be freed when enough time had passed.
